Son of Sheinfeld

I caught the end of this episode once, 19 years ago at the age of 18, and my rememberance of it still often brings me to tears. It has always reminded me of my relationship with my father and just wanting him to hug me, love me and be proud of me just as I am. I'd love to get a copy of that episode.

VERY good episode! Jonathan Silverman as the weird son was heartfelt and very touching. And after watching a young man die in the E/R and the young man's parents weep, the way that Doc Sheinfeld admits openly that he loves his son, regardless of his weird hair or sexuality, was sweet.

Makes us wish our father's could be as expressive.

I'm glad you remember the episode, too. Though I never had a bizarre outward apperance as the son in that episode did, my father still always looked down at me, never respected my individuality and always looked down on me. To this day, I struggle with that. But now that I have a son, I hug him constantly and let him know that I love him unconditionally.

After seeing the end of that one episode, I hoped to learn the identity of the show and told several people about it. Finally, a few weeks ago, I started telling someone about the episode and then she interrupted me and went on to describe it further. She got it right and told me the name of the show! I waited 19 years to find out!

I'm still looking for acopy of that episode, so anyone who has one, please let me know!

I just wanna hug you! It's great that you took your relationship with your dad to heart, and try to be a better father to your own son. That's what makes us better people and better parents to our children.

Now for why you're here; I don't think I can help. Even if I could, how I would, would hardly be legal.

Congratulations, you've just killed your girlfriend with your ****.
