I just found the complete series at www.dvddonkey.com all 123 episodes at 200$
Now how`s that for a x-mas present or what ? Needless to say I ordered a set !!

Danger Bay has never been released on VHS or DVD.
What you would get if you bought it online would be TVRips.
Recorded originally off a TV broadcast to VHS, then either burned to DVD-R with a Standalone DVD Recorder, or converted to AVI/WMV or MPEG and then burned to DVD with a PC DVD Burner.
Either way, you're not going to be getting anywhere near DVD quality.
At best you'll get 2nd or 3rd generation VHS quality on a DVD-R.
And pay a fortune for it by the looks of things.
With more than 100 episodes of Danger Bay, the best I think we can ever hope for in an Official DVD release would be a 'Best Of' DVD or maybe the first season.
I'll have to be content with the eps I have recorded on old worn out VHS Tapes at LP speed.. Commercials and all.
Damn.. I wish I'd had the brains back in the day to buy a load of hi-quality VHS tapes and record every episode of this great one-of-a-kind show with only 3 or 4 eps on each tape.
Oh well..
Thanks! I'd prefer to buy an official release DVD then copies.
I keep hearing some release of The Beachcombers and I hope some
day the same happens to Danger Bay.

I did tape them all and then my daughter behind my back sneaked them and used them for Buffy the Vampire Slayer. We watched them in the 90's after church on Saturdays.

Dang thank you for trying. I have been searching for this show on dvd but nothing. I did notice that there were some for sale but I thought they weren't any good so I didn't order it. Thankfully after reading these posts I didn't do that. I did go up onto the CBC website but there wasn't anything there either. I did read that CBC was the station that it was on before Disney.
This was one of the best shows on at the time. The whole family sat down and watched this one together. :)
