Was the Cosby show racist?

If memory serves me well, I remember that most, if not all, the white characters being portrayed on this show were samewhat inferior to the normal protagonists.

These guest actors all seemed to serve a purpose on the episode story as somebody weaker or a bad influence on the family members.
I don't recollect a single one of them as being "the good one", or superior to them in any way.

Was this show racist?

You aren't the first person to notice that possibility. One exception I can think of was Danny Kaye as the dentist. Cosby fought to get him on the show and created a very respectful part for him.
