where can i find it ?
shareThe only place I have managed to locate copies and then only on VHS are ebay and amazon, but they are asking quite a bit of money for them.

This miniseries was a very RIVETING WATCH!!! on television back in the day!!!! and I was able to read the book also VERY GOOD & RIVETING!!!!
and when the video stores finally got it on VHS/tape I think I rented it 1x or twice, so hopefully 1 day if it is made available on DVD this newer generation will be able to see what had us running to our TV's night after night!!!!

SNOOKI: I would have said yes to that DASHING SOLDIER, that mag. cover proposal IMO was the SH!T(totally in a good way), if he was golddigging that prenup would have taken care of that!!! and it would have taught THE SITUATION and the other GUIDO'S THAT EVEN THOUGH YOU CALLED ME "SHRIMP and SNIKERS" and did'nt DROOL over me like you did the other GUIDETTE''s during SEASON 1 look at me now!!!!!!

its been on the encore movie channels several times...now with dvr you can try to catch it on there and record it. best bet at present time
shareThey used to show this and other really good mini series on the encore channels but now that there is dvr they never show them. I wish they would replay this one or release it on dvd. this mini series was great
Heads-up, there's two different video releases. The original release was a two-tape set -- and that's the one to get. The second release was by Good Times/Starmaker, it's a single tape, recorded in EP and crummy quality. All of the Good Times/Starmaker EP/LPs have serious tracking issues and are best avoided.
I have the Starmaker VHS Tape and its not bad at all. It plays fine on my VCR and it all depends on what type of VCR you have 2 head or 4 head,it makes all the difference. If your tape heads are in need of cleaning that can be the problem. EP is not the best but this happens to play just fine.

I did a transfer from VHS to DVD. I no longer have the VHS tapes but it is on a 3 DVD set without commercials brining it in at 5 hours. The quality is not bad at all but definately not digital HQ. If anyone is interested. email me at [email protected]
