Who Should Have Played Wayne's Son?

Like most viewers I think Noel Clark was miscast as Wyman. So who should have played the character instead? I would imagine the character being similar to Wayne - a cockney, womanizing, charismatic, a bit cocky - without being a carbon copy of him. And Christa being his mum is more fitting. But I can't think of any actors who would quite fit. So just for fun - any ideas?

I've long pondered this lorna. I think Wyman was a missed opportunity too. Casting Noel Clarke was box-ticking pc modern-era and the result ruined that part of a classic show for me.
If we are going by who should have been cast in 2001 I used to think Noel Fielding would have been good in a way (an actor, comedian and musician-type)
I also mentioned an actor called Hans Matheson in the past who is a Scottish actor (in 2001 he would have been 27, 28ish) and he also worked with Tim Spall and Jimmy Nail on the film Still Crazy.

If it was the reunion NOW as of 2016 I'd like Tim Healy's son Matthew to play Wyman. He is a rocker himself like Gary, good looking and young, and if he can act like his dad and Gary even more great. But Matthew is only 27 I think so he would have to play older as in 2016 Wyman couldn't be any younger than 32.

Failing that any young, dark haired skinny/ slim rocker-actor type who either is an actor or a musician from a cool Brit band who could act.

A young punk with a thick German accent would have been funny.

Ralf Little from the Royle Family would have been a decent choice, or Joe Gilgun from This is England who would have been around the right age being born in 1984

No one. There was no need for Wyman at all in any shape or form. Should have just left it with the six originals.
