me too, this miniseries was on HBO and the only thing that kept me sane during the late summer the year i was pregnant...i'd love to see it again all these years later!

The dvd was released several years ago. Its available at ezydvd.com.au. If you are in the US you need to ensure your dvd player or your computers dvd drive are multi region players in order to be able to play it.

I AGREE I SAW THIS MOVIE WHEN IT FIRST APPEARED ON A HBO SPECIAL BACK IN THE 80 S AND IT WAS GREAT. I HAVE BEEN ON EBAY AND ON AMAZON.COM AND I CAN NOT FIND IT ON DVD..WELL A AUTHENTIC ANYWAY..I WOULD LOVE TO SEE THIS MINI SERIES ON DVD. I WOULD BUY IT IN A HEARTBEAT. I RECORDED ON ROMANCE CLASSICS BUT IT HAS WEAR FROM CONTINUE WATCHING.I WOULD LOVE TO FIND IT ON DVD. I REALLY DO NOT WANT TO TRAVEL TO AUSTRALIA TO PICK UP A COPY OF IT.

No need to fly all the way just to pick up a copy - our online dvd shops do actually post to international destinations. Plenty of my overseas friends buy regularly from ezydvd.com.au

there is a dvd avaliable, you can by it at the gift shop at the port of echuca, ebay and i bought it from my local post office

Actually, I don't believe this (1983) series is available. The ONLY version is the one titled "All The Rivers Run 2 ..." which isn't this one, but the one dated 1990.

Can anyone confirm that this is the case. Or have we missed it?

Just spent a week in Echuca where this was filmed. I own the DVD of the first series and asked where I bought that about getting series 2 on DVD. The woman at the gift shop seemed adamant that it won't be released on DVD, or even that the previously released 1st series will be available again. Something to do with whoever owns the rights not releasing it to DVD. Sounds plain mean to me, I'd love series 2 on DVD.

Yep Series 2 was never released on dvd in Aus and not likely to be from what I have been told by those involved. Series 1 was a limited edition and once the original stocks were sold out they were not replaced. I bought my copy the day it was released. It has lovely behind the scenes footage and interviews with the actors. The site I use for buying all my dvds ezydvd.com.au no longer lists it as being available.

i saw it on Ezy Dvd website says its a 3 dvd set being released by Madman 1st of July
and amazon has it as a 2 dvd set so dunno what be more correct?

I've been doing some googling and read that the mini series should be re-released to dvd in the first half of this year. Hopefully it will be soon as I love it and want to own my own copy!

looks like it will be uncut according to the running time it be good to see what we missed on the badly cut dvd that was released can;t wait to buy the uncut and dispose of the crap one

I noticed on the ezydvd website this morning tha the devd is coming out july 2nd. Can't wait to get it. That's great it wil be uncut too!

and says 3 disk set :) better then the Hacked up previous release why it was ever released i don;t know hacking it ruins it which makes the story hard to follow least this release will make the story easier to Follow
