Judging by the certificate, this is the same version as the Rental VHS issue (guess they couldn't be bothered to get it re-certified). Anyway, there are some hilarious bits where they appear to have dubbed in a few F-bombs to make it seem like a proper film. Ahhh - the bad old days, when we used to get US pilots released in the UK onto VHS as feature films.
Love the show still, though.

I have a review copy and the picture is terrible and that's in spite of it still being 4:3.
Indeed, the sad thing is the Blu-Ray version is actually cheaper to buy than the DVD version of it.
If I'd known how awful it looked, I would've never bought it.
I still have the VHS version I bought 11 years ago and the picture quality is as dire as that.
At least the TV version of Shadow of the Hawke on the Season 1 dvd has been restored quite well, it's just a shame that the jokers the put out the "Movie" version couldn't even be bothered cleaning up the picture of it.
