I recently got the complete, each episode is excellent. The only drawback is that there no extras like retrospesctive films, behind the scenes footage or up to date interviews with actors who had appeared in the series like future Dr Watson Jude Law in one of first screen acting roles. Is this possible in the future?

I don't know. But there is a book called "Bending the Willow" by David Stuart Davies that gives a thorough account of the making of the Granada series with a lot of behind-the-scenes information and some wonderful photographs.
