Legally it lasted until 1980, yeah, but the marriage was effectively over by this time or not much later. They more or less stoped living together ca 1974.

Although they both were unfaithful, she had a child with another man somewhere in the mid-seventies. The child, a girl, has a MySpace account now, and she keeps the surname Bowie, even though David isn't her father.

Hmmm...I just watched this and I didn't sense any hostility between them...he even seemed to smile at her before she left.
I really enjoyed watching this.
I could really tell he was having fun and appreciated his fans' cheering.
I don't blame the girl at the end for running up onstage and hugging him :P.

If anyone is fortunate enough to score a copy of The 1980 Floor Show (Midnight Special program on American TV), watch the acoustic version of "Space Oddity" that Bowie and Ronson perform. When David sings the line "Tell my wife I love her very much..." he glances to the side and winks at someone offstage...I can only assume it was Angie. I thought that was so sweet.
