I Identified w/ the Zelig Documentary because It Is About ME.

Such a cinematic masterpiece, ir remais unfogettable and broundbreaking.
When I saw it in the theater for the first time I was dumdfounded and have remained so on the subject ever since.

I watched it again tonight as I do whenever the opportunity presents itself, or perhaps I should say, "presents myself."

It remains as brilliant and touching as ever!

To one extent or another, "Zelig" is about ALL OF US, because everyone has craved acceptance from some individual, or some group, at some point in their lives.

We all behave in a certain manner at our places of employment, then somewhat differently when with our families, and probably yet another way with our spouses/significant others.

We are ALL conformists, to one extent or another, and the brilliance of "Zelig" is the presentation of a likeable character who is, as the film says, the "ultimate conformist."
