Billy Kwan's (Linda Hunt's) Observation on Mel Gibson's Character

In this movie, Linda Hunt's character, Billy Kwan, makes notes on Mel Gibson's character, and these observations are used as part of the narration of the movie. In one of them, Billy speculates that he might turn into a ".....Romantic."

I don't have a copy of this film at the moment, and wonder if someone could tell me the exact adjectives Billy uses in this observation. It was something like, "disillusioned, embittered Romantic"--but it may have been just one adjective. I would be grateful if someone could tell me what Billy's exact wording was in this scene. --Thank You
