anybody know where some of these kids are?i know about a few but could nrver find anything else about them.

Before I watched this movie I had heard (from IMDB) that the people in this movie were "real" punks, so yeah I wonder what happened to them too, and if they ended up seeing much money from this. I know it wasn't one of the most profitable movies ever made but it seems like it could've earned some money from DVDs etc...

shareI was told the little boy went on to work in construction and married with children, and the son-of-gay-dad guy died a few years ago. I am still treating these as baseless rumors until proven otherwise.
I don't think we will ever know what happened to all these non-professional actors. Suburbia was an one-off acting job for most of the gang. The tall blonde guy (Chris?) was a working actor and Flea the rat guy too.

Yeah, that's a bummer. I remember circa 1987 I had just graduated high school and was working at a Montgomery Wards Auto Center in Fullerton. One day this guy drove up on a motorcycle and asked if he could borrow some tools for a second, he just had to make a minor adjustment. I said sure and we chatted while he tinkered. He was a nice guy and sounded very familiar... eventually I blurted out, "Dude... aren't you Joe Schmoe?" He looked pretty different but it was him. I actually helped him get a job there, but I think he quit after just a few days. Don't remember what happened. I remember he told me that he and the chick he hooks up with in the movie hated each other for some reason. Anyway I hope the rumors of his death are greatly exaggerated.
shareI found Maggie Ehrig on MySpace a few years back, recognized her from Suburbia (she was the taller of the two "main" TR girls) and we chatted a little, then lost touch. She was really cool and down to earth, even said she was one of the background extras in Blade Runner (!) and still had fond memories of Suburbia. No idea where she is now. :)

Bill Coyne, who played Evan Johnson, passed away last year. March 22nd, 2011 from an accidental gun shot wound. He lived in Hot Springs, AK. but had spent most of his life living in Southern California working as an EMT in hospital emergency rooms and on an ambulance. He served in the US army after making Suburbia and is survived by one son and his younger brother.
shareDrew Bernstein, who played a random T.R. kid in the film, went on to found the punk/goth fashion company Lip Service. Last August, he went out onto a hiking trail near Mulholland Drive, and shot himself.
