I remember seeing this movie when it first came out in 1983. it always stuck with me. I was happy to get the chance to see it again yesterday. well done TV movie with Ann Margret. sad to know this is about a real family. I know they had a reunion way back when the TV movie came out. Have read a few have died. wonder how the rest are doing?

It was so wonderful for the family that took Warren also came back for frank although they knew nothing of his condition. What wonderful ppl they were!!
Goodness, I sometimes cant stand Watchin movies that make me cry.. But I can't turn it off. :)

shareI managed to download the movie on Stagevu.com. Apparently there are dvds circulating on Ebay, but that's according to other posts not my own experience.
