Starman

The ending of this movie reminded me of the ending in John Carpenters Starman.

I saw this in theaters when it was originally release (at that age the nudity was quite enticing, even if brief). I also saw Starman in theaters, and for some reason I've always associated both of these films. If I recall, both involve a large silver sphere/spaceship at the end? I know Starman does. I'll have to watch this one again to make sure, but I think this one did as well.

The thing to remember is that Wavelength came first. Wavelength was conceived and written in 1981 and filmed the end of that year. It was planned to release it in 1982, but due to anticipated competition with the bigger budgeted E.T., the film hit theatres in September of 1983. Starman was 1984.

It used the same the same ship as 'Starman' in that closing sequence.
