Boom Mics

This movie has several boom mic drop ins. Lets you about the inexperence of the film crew. Good movie though!!!

It might be that an open-matte transfer is to blame for this and the mics would be out of frame in an OAR presentation.

Well, I saw this in a theater in 1983, and the boom mics were as visible then as in this YT video.

When is this "OAR presentation" supposed to get made?

I recently watched this and saw five separate instances of the boom mike appearing. I was disappointed when it didn't get a credit in the cast list. 😊
An enjoyable movie and nicely done though.

You beat me to that joke. But when I saw the movie the boom mike didn't seem to be that intrusive.
