you can purchase the dvd at www.animeglore.com/index.php/cPath2 for $29.99. That's the cheapest price I've found for any of the Unico videos.

I used to watch these as a kid, I still think they are great... About life, friends, values, doing the right thing, and all that other crap that America is devoid of these days.

hey, did you see this on the disney channel? ive been looking for this for so long. ive also seen one they use to play about two squirrels who break out of a zoo, but i cant find it anywhere also i don't know the name. but they played it on the disney channel in the 80s around the same time as unico.
if anyone can find it please let me know

I just bought it on Ebay for $15. They have many copies, so you could probably find it.

Just search the english title.

The so-called "dvd"s on eBay are homemade bootlegs of the VHS tapes. You're better off waiting for the official DVD release.
