Owes a lot to JC Pollock's Mission MIA

To this day I think Uncommon Valor is the BEST of the 'Vietnam rescue' flicks.

Recently I picked up Mission MIA for the first time since.....well prob since it came out. I'm only half way thru it, but the similarities lead me to believe that whichever writer credited read that book.

In fact, an article on Variety.com and in a newspaper TV guide stated outright that this film adapted J.C. Pollock's novel Mission MIA.

Cool, glad he got some credit.
