Huh! Maybe it's just me...

But I thought this film was alright and can't understand why people don't like it.

Listen, as far as the acting, John and Olivia were just as good in Grease as they were in TOAK. And the electricity between the two was there in both films. Great premise in TOAK and the music was good too.

3.9? How about a 5.5? Not a great film but certainly not difficult to sit through either.

yeah, I didn't think it was as bad as people said.....I saw it when I was about 10, and I really liked it back then.....I watched it a few years back, and although I didn't like it as much, I would have to say that because I am a fan of both actors, I would buy it if I found it cheap enough (like if it was in the 5.50 bin at my Walmart).

I hope life isn't a big joke, because I don't get it. - Jack Handey

I don't get it either. It got 1 star out of 4. I don't understand this either. I thought it was a charming movie but maybe I am partial because I am a fan of both actors. They spoiled me in Grease

I watched it a couple of years ago, just the ending, but about a month ago I bought it on DVD and I think it's great. Great actors, cool music and romance, what more can you ask for ;) However I can understand that it didn't became a boxoffice-hit, but it's still a good movie.

I find the movie mildly amusing. There are some holes in the plot and the music doesn't really seem to be a part of the film but added later. As a music film it lacks most ingredients that make up a succesdful musical. Characters are flat characters, difficult to be really interest in them. I'd say it's a 5.

There are some reasons I enjoy watching this movie:
Olivia is adorable, pretty and funny as the leading lady,
Travolta looks gorgeous and is quite the charmer,
Both leading actors have absurdly great chemistry;
Oliver Reed is delicious as the Devil;
I love those corny love stories.
