Just enjoyed this movie after something like ten years...

...and it still gets a high rating from me. I was after a Blu-ray version for a long time, but it never materialised. Thank GOD for Amazon Prime Video HD rentals.

1st Segment: Still a good lesson for Vic Morrow's racist character to learn how Jews, blacks and Asians were treated. It's sad that he died during filming, as did the two Asian chidren he was with, but it was a tragic error on the director's part, but they won't leave him alone about it.

2nd Segment: Fun and optimistic by comparison, shows that you should live life to the fullest.

3rd Segment: I quite liked the creepiness of the boy's cartoon house and hostages, not to mention the inventive practical effects of the monster puppets. Bill Mumy as the original "demon boy" was a nice touch.

4th Segment: Better than the William Shatner version, even with the Gremlins feel to it.

Yep, a favourite movie of mine by far.
