SModcast mention

There was a time in 1984 when I was in a vacation rental, with the flu. I was having fever dreams while lying on the couch, watching HBO. My parents had left to take a walk, and I was drifting in and out of consciousness. I had always thought that this movie was part of my dreams, but then I heard Kevin Smith describe it on SModcast and I had to look it up. This was the movie I watched back in 1984. I rewatched it and hated it. It's indistinguishable from a horrible fever dream. Interestingly, during the same vacation all the other channels were featuring news reports about the Night Stalker. I remember getting scared and freaking out. I couldn't find my parents and ran out onto the golf course calling for them. Some golfers started yelling at me to "Shut Up!" Then by brother showed up and made it worse by making fun of me. I was traumatized. That was 1984. If that happened today my parents would have been arrested for child neglect.
