Great!

Loved this flick, does everything it promises on the cover and then some.

yeah me too - loved it as a kid when it played on TV, and then again when I saw it after becoming a Castellari fan.

The US DVD box cracks me up - they were too cheap to pull their own stills. The ones they used for the box are are all taken from my website:

Cool. Love the site BTW.

Nice review! I love the laziness of these bargain basement DVD producers. Ha!

This is my appreciation:

thanks for the kind words and LOL @ your review. Yes that is inded Enzo Castellari himself as the soldier with the cap who is torturing Harmon. Enzo's brother Ennio Girolami plays the turban-hatted man hanging out with Malco's character.

I spent all weekend hanging out with the quite-charming Ottaviano Dell'Acqua, who dies NUMEROUS times in this film as random soldiers in the battle scene. He also was Harmon's stunt double for most of the riding scenes. Dell'Acqua's claim to fame now is that he played the famous rotting zombie head on the cover of Lucio Fulci's ZOMBIE. Oddly enough, the only injury he's ever had his whole stunt career is a broken leg.

Thanks, man! That's really awesome you got to hang out with Ottaviano- he's done the stunts on many of my favorite films; and from working with the likes Castellari and Cozzi, one can only imagine how many thousands of times he died onscreen!

I like your site very much, and you're a true aficionado. And, just out of curiosity, where did you manage to get your hands on lesser seen Castellaris like High Crime, Sensitiva or Cry, Onion ( and yes, I've been told to avoid the last two, but sometimes, you just gotta find out for yourself). I just got Lightblast last week from Revok- amazing.

well I really wish I could recommend one website or one guy, but they've all burned me pretty bad in past dealings. The best way is to just network and ask people who have done reviews on the films to see if they'll find you copies.
