They should release every movie ever made on DVD in a widescreen, digitally remastered format. It really bothers me how many movies there are out there that are not available to instantly buy on DVD on Amazon.com. I hate having to go through "Amazon Marketplace" to get certain items.
Trenchcoat used to come on either regular TV and/or HBO when I was growing up. I have always liked Margot Kidder. Her scene in the first Superman where she is being buried alive in the earthquake is one of the best moments in cinematic history. She also has a very good performance in the underrated horror movie, Black Christmas, which is one of the best horror movies ever made.
I think Trenchcoat has a twist at the end that involves a mysterious older couple, but I could be getting it mixed up with Cloak and Dagger, another great movie. I definitely remember watching Trenchcoat, and I remember Robert Hays in it, too, since he was very good in Stephen King's Cat's Eye.
Later,
Mark =)
