It has a sort of cheesy 1980's music-video vibe, but it's not bad. A totally different take on the same sort of situation, it shows just how much they updated the story for the anime.

An Idea is the most resilient parasite - Inception

I just watched it, because I like to check out obscure foreign movies from time to time. I can't say it's a good movie, but it was an interesting experience. It reminded me of some Soviet children's movies, in terms of how naive and proper all the characters were and the campy special effects (for instance, Guest from the Future, 1985). I learned that the novel is well known in Japan and adapted into a movie several times. I might check out other adaptations if I can get my hands on them.
