Why is Leia left alive?????

So, my big question on this is..... as crazy and psycho as the killers are, and as hell-bent as they are on killing ALL of these girls, why was Leia left alive?? They never explain this. It's WEIRD! When the killer had her cornered naked in the shower, I figured that was it for her. All of a sudden, we see her clothed in a gown, dancing around on the balcony going "laaa laaa deee daaa" and the killer never touches her. Even passes her up when runs into her again. What the heck is that about? I assume she was drugged up, but why not kill her like the rest? Maybe they wanted to save her for last for some reason? I don't know! It's just never explained.

The only explanation is that perhaps Leia wasn't one of the girls the killer held responsible.

Be horny.

And why drug her? And what drug was that? And how was she drugged?

It is a bizarre twist. Yet it stands out from what is a rather forgettable slasher film, with nothing all that special worth talking about. It is a level of quirkiness because she is so startled and frightened it sends her into loony-land. Her madness continuing as the killer pursues the final girl gives the chase scene at least a bit of uniqueness at the end of the film which had none. She did have the presence of mind to pop on a gown...imagine if she did all that buck naked!

I took from it that the threat of getting killed caused Leia to lose her sanity, which the killer probably felt was a fate worse than death. So, the killer let her live so that they could kill the rest.
