Rented this on VHS in 1983

My grandma babysat my sisters and I one Saturday night back in 1983 (I was 8, sisters were 6 and 10) and we popped it in the VCR. After about a half hour, and about 30 F-Bombs dropped on-screen later she asked, "Is this the kind of movie you're allowed to watch?"... and we said "YES! Now shut up grandma!" ... and she did. Oh, passivity.

Dude! I had almost the exact same experience with this movie and my brother! The babysitter was my neighbor and it was the early 80's. I guess I was about 8.

This movie was a cornerstone of my childhood, back when video stores had just been invented. My mom worked at one in the early/mid 80's and she would bring home this movie regularly, at our request. One of the other movies that I consider on par for nostalgia, was Yor: the Hunter from the future. It was awesomely terrible in the most magnificent way.
