DVD REGION 2

God knows why or how, but this has a US DVD release.

Whats a mook?

It is bizarre, I cant imagine anyone in the US has heard of it, let alone wants to buy it. I'm just glad I've got a multi-region DVD player to watch it on.

I've just heard this is out and totally agree that why on earth should it be a US release?! Such a wonderful movie, I was hoping that due to the World Cup someone would either show it again or put it out in the UK.A magical film, love it.

I'm not sure HOW many folks in the US ever watched this movie, but we sure did at our house! We saw the film many times on cable TV back in the early 1990s, I believe (it was in heavy rotation for a long time) and we simply adored it. My kid sister and I were and still are major soccer fans and we loved the Spurs too, so this film became a real favorite, especially because, like the girls in the film, it was impossible to explain to other people WHY we loved the sport so much! We so related to their story and it made this film a fond memory for us. Thanks for the info because I never would have figured on a US release either! I can't wait to watch it with my sister again; she'll be thrilled!
