R.I.P. Robin Williams, the great Donald Quinelle

I truly can't believe he's gone. Robin was a brilliant comedic genius, literally the funniest person in the world. The Survivors is my all-time favorite Williams movie, not to mention my favorite comedy film of all time. I've watched it countless hundreds of times since I was a kid, laughing my a$$ off every time. Robin is hysterical as Quinelle, and always makes me laugh. For some reason, I've always found the ending oddly sentimental, due to Donald and Sonny's poignant exchange in the last scene, and the maudlin strings of the music, which sometimes has brought me to tears, despite the hilarity of the film. I know it will definitely have that effect now that Robin is gone. But his laughter will never be forgotten, and will continue to brighten the world.

Rest in peace, Robin. We miss you and will always love you! :-)
