How does Superman get a haircut and shave?

Superman after-all, sports a five o'clock shadow when he is being bad. And yes, I know he in the comics, uses his eyes' laser to burn off his beard and hair, but that doesn't explain how he can go through any fire without burning his hair?

He doesn't need to.

He simply manifests a smooth skinned Clark Kent and strangles the unkempt Superman version out of existence.

Does it every single day. We get a small glimpse of this process during Superman III.

ROFLMAO!!!!

Its a plot hole

Millsey72, I know it is hard for you to grasp this, but something that is not explained is not a plot hole. While asking the question is an interesting exercise, this has nothing to do with the plot of this move. It is not a plot hole.

He has a special room in his fortress of solitude that generates red sun rays, which temporarily make him vulnerable.

reply

Now that actually makes sense.

Canonically, according to the comics, he uses a mirror and his heat vision to shave and cut his hair. Heat vision will bounce off a mirror, but it is capable of cutting/burning a Kryptonian's hair.

This is actual shown in a episode of superman with dean cain

reply

No. Heat vision will not bounce off a mirror. He uses a polished piece of the ship that brought him to earth.

reply

He is invulnerable to fire but I suppose that Kryptonian heat vision is much more powerful, considering he can be hurt by it when an enemy of the same species uses it against him.
