Was Superman turning bad a metaphor for people with borderline personality disorder?

https://www.quora.com/What-is-an-episode-in-borderline-personality-disorder-What-does-it-mean-when-someone-who-has-BPD-is-having-an-episode-What-triggers-these-episodes-and-how-long-do-they-last/answer/Brian-Barnett-2

An “episode” is a false-notion term coined to describe seemingly temporary, blatant symptoms of Borderline Personality Disorder from an outsider’s perspective.

Flying off the handle in disproportionate rage without any reasonable cause (from the outsider’s perspective) is an example. Getting blind drunk [for the purpose of drowning out negative feelings] is an example. Hitting on another woman behind your wife’s back with the intention of cheating [for the purpose of replenishing your constant need for external affirmation] is an example. Isolating yourself away from all of your loved ones [for the purpose of avoiding intimacy] is an example. Any unhealthy, negative symptom of the disorder that temporarily manifests in a noticeable way is considered a Borderline Personality Disorder “episode” according to many people.

No. He was exposed to an experimental form of Kryptonite.

I used the term "metaphor" for a reason, I didn't say that Superman literally has BPD!

No, don't be silly.

That article was written by someone with BPD, who thinks everything is all about him. Typical.
