End song

The end song, This Side of Forever, was by Roberta Flack, one of Clint's favorite artists. One of her more popular songs was "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face" was in Play Misty For Me. If you listen to the music of TSOF, it is the same theme by Lalo Schifrin at the end of the previous Dirty Harry movies. I guess they finally decided to put words to it.

"The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face" was actually out of print when Eastwood put it in Play Misty for Me. After appearing in the movie, the song hit number-one on the charts and Flack became a star.

Yeah, the ending song (sorry, I forgot what it was called) is a collaboration of the main ending Dirty Harry theme (which you hear in a lullaby type format in Dirty Harry and Magnum Force) and Jennifer's theme.

Jennifer's theme (as I identify it) is that eerie theme you here in the beginning of the movie when she is in the car, etc.

You hear harry's usual end credit them when Flack sings the part, "when did I fell from the sky, you fed me right from your hand. first a small, frightened dove. now a falcon on your glove, etc." or whatever the lyrics are.

the other part when she sings, "but let me stay, please try and get to know me, etc." is Jennifer's theme, I'm pretty sure.

At least.....I think
