Continuity Error

Just watched the movie again, and I noticed at continuity error.
In the final race of the season, just after the announcers say they're setting a record pace, they have the big crash that takes out a ton of cars. I know they're using footage from actual Nascar crashes, but the clip they use shows a # 10 involved in the crash. They later say that one of the cars left in the race is #10 Aubry James.

Wow, I never noticed the #10 in the big wreck, that's cool.

Yeah, also watch right after Aubrey knocks Harry Gant outta the race just before the big wreck. The next car they show is the one that flips wildly and lands on it's roof (kinda ironic, that's how Stroker wins the race)! That car is #77, but watch the restart. The first car that Stroker passes is #77!

Yep it's obviously old race footage being used. But I would think it would be kind of dangerous if they actually tried filming wreck scenes like that.

The things that annoy me more are when they say they are at, for instance, Atlanta, and you can clearly see "Daytona USA" or "Talladega" on the walls. Still the best of the three major NASCAR movies though...
