The con in this movie had absolutely nothing on the first one. And what's the deal with the characters kind of supposedly being the same guys as the protagonists from the first one, but not exactly? This is like a Saturday afternoon made-for-TV movie of the week. What a waste of Jackie Gleason's talent.

I agree with OP. This would have been a decent enough TV movie. But the fact that they tried to pass this off as a sequel to an excellent movie just made it worse.
