Gleason and Davis

Jackie Gleason was a highly rated guy, but not the same as Neuman. And Mac Davis as Redford is laughable. Gleason as the mark who they were going to con might have made more sense. The people behind it really didn't care about all of this. They thought if you slapped the name "Sting" on it, people would rush to see it.
Gleason and Newman worked in "The Hustler" and teaming them up again would have worked better than Gleason and Davis. Gleason works best as a big shot.
