I've seen this movie only one time after it premiered on TV. That was in 1984. There was a series that ran for a couple of years, Still the Beaver, but I'd really like to see this movie again. As far as I know it's never been on VHS or DVD.
shareI've NEVER seen this movie replayed...only the original airing in '83. (Didn't have a VCR back then I guess..I KNOW I would've taped it.) Does anyone have a tape they'd be willing to share? I have a sister, a true LITB fan, who's never seen the '83 movie or any of the '85-'89 series. I've hit a dead-end on this one! Can anyone help?
shareI'm certain it aired more than twice. I think the movie premiered on one of the basic networks (CBS maybe?), which probably only aired it twice. "Still the Beaver" premiered on The Disney Channel and later moved to WTBS (which subsequently dropped the "W" from their call letters) -- one of the two stations reran the movie frequently. I believe it was The Disney Channel, but don't quote me on that. I know I saw it numerous times though it's not one that I ever had on tape.
The movie did premier on one of the basic networks in 1983, don't remember which one but we didn't have cable then so I wouldn't have seen it otherwise. It was shown again one year later (still no cable but a new baby!). I haven't seen it since.

I have this TV movie and 90 episodes from Ioffer.com. I loved every episode of the "new" series and so would anyone who enjoyed the original series. It's a crime this hasn't been out on dvd yet. I want the entire series!
