This sounds like the movie my mom was telling me about. She said towards the end of the movie, a 2nd plane goes up and attaches some sort of tubes to the stranded plane and the passengers slide down into the rescue plane LOL Anyway, would like to verify that before I track down a copy for her. Thanks.

Sounds about right. Check the Wikipedia entry, I think it mentions this.
