Scream needs to release this on blu-ray/DVD combo

I got the Code Red DVD and am a little surprised at it. Usually Code Red puts out really nice, sharp transfers (even if they prints are occasionally a little beaten up... but, I kinda like that sometimes, and they usually warn you that it's a "grindhouse print"). This one was obviously ported over from a VHS... and it looked like a 2nd generation VHS dub, at that. Full-screen, occasional drop-out streaks, a bit of ghosting, murkiness, etc. I was surprised that they'd do that. Maybe film elements weren't available or something, I don't know. Anyway, it's still easily watchable, but if anybody's a really big fan of this movie (I'm not - I like it enough to buy it, but it's not my fave) then they'll hope for another release. I remember Spasms always looking a little muddy, though -- I recorded it off of cable back in the 80's and it didn't look very good then, either.
