Disney is remaking this

According to Deadline, Disney are making a remake of Something Wicked This Way Comes with Seth Grahame-Smith making his directorial debut and produced with David Katzenberg from their producing banner KatzSmith Productions, also, Grahame-Smith wants to focus mostly on Ray Bradbury's source material from the book.

If the first film did not succeed with a talented director like Clayton, what is one to expect from newcomer Grahame-Smith?

Not usually a fan of remakes, but this could be worthy. The 80s movie doesn't come close to the brilliance of the book. But please do not modernize the story in the remake.

I agree that the book really deserves a remake. But it is obvious that Disney does not care about the project if they put Seth Grahame-Smith on it.

It is too bad, as it could have been so good.

Hopefully he'd take it seriously and not make it all campy and silly like the Dark Shadows remake he wrote.

If Seth Grahame-Smith is involved, then no thank you.

I am not a fan. I just happen to enjoy movies. Fans are embarrassing.

I don't know if they could find a better actor for Mr Dark than Johnathan Pryce. It'll be tough.
