long island puberty horse voices + horrifying end

just finished watching this. how i avoided the final scene for so many years is beyond me. i always thought the spoiler that i kept coming across was that angela was the killer but it's pretty obvious early on that she is. i accepted that and figured i'd give it a watch anyway. sooo glad i did. the long island accents alone are hilariously entertaining. the campy slasher vibe is enjoyable throughout.

the ending..

as a 30 year old i rarely get horrific goosebumps all over my body but the ending really made that happen. i'll forever love this film because of that.

Yea it's all in the way they shot that final scene with that disturbing siren noise. It easily stands the test of time.

The way they shot that final scene was incredible. Some of the best camera work I've ever seen as well as that animalistic growl and that terrifying facial expression. That will be burned in mind forever. Can't unsee or unhear it. The rest of the film is alright but that ending propelled it into legendary status.

The accents made me laugh! Kinda like watching Fargo.
