Zu:Warriors vs Legend of Zu
Which one is better?!
Legend Of Zu, of course! For your info, Legend Of Zu was finally the Zu film Tsui Hark wanted to do from the very beginning. The first Zu Warriors had nearly half of the whole footage of the film completely lost and never appeared on film. At the end, Tsui Hark demanded more money and special effects to fix all this, his demand was rejected by Golden Harvest. The first Zu is a mess that somehow works; on contrary, every single scene in Legend Of Zu had some strong humanist meaning and reason, it's finally a complete film and exactly as Tsui envisioned, and that's probably why it's very often considered as a pure mind blowing masterpiece and in my opinion Tsui Hark's very best film of his career. And i have seen every single film he's made to date.

Original Zu Warriors was better. Trust me, this film is hust as jumbled as the LOZ but I just couldn't stand LOZ. Zu Warriors has more sentimental value because it actually tells a story as to where LOZ is simply a showcase of Special FX. Sure the FX have improved massively but LOZ has nothing else to offer. Bottom line: Zu Warriors is still better.

Thanks guys, finally i saw both these films and i have to without any hesitation fully agree with the second user. Legend Of Zu is a real masterpiece and faaaar more accomplished film. It's finally a film that offered what no other film ever did before. It somehow enlightened me on the morality and most importantly let me theorize about various human issues and self-destructive desires explored in the wildest imagination ever. The best futuristic film reflecting our human condition at its finest!
