I wouldn't know if it was true, or if so, going to happen. I had emailed Maurice Smith Productions, asking about RECRUITS 2 which is listed on the website, and they replied that work should get started in summer. Along with RECRUITS 2, he mentioned SCREWBALLS 4, which I didn't know.
I guess it's true about "Screwball Hotel" being the third SB film.

The second film is actually the movie Loose Screws, it's made by most of the same people, with a bunch of the same cast. And I myself didn't know there was a part 3, but I think it was Screwball Hotel because it's another of Maurice Smith's productions.

I emailed Maurice again like a year ago, and they said the sequels were still "coming soon..." so I assume they want to make RECRUITS 2 and SCREWBALLS 4 (which I think the website called it "Virtually Screwed," but they can't get the funds. I doubt these will ever get made.
