Funny, underrated scene
I don't see people talking about this scene. At the drive-in, when the fight is breaking out, Howie jumps in Melvin's arms for no reason. That's just funny to me, for some reason.
shareThe fight at the drive-in movie was indeed hilarious; I loved that the filmmakers used a rousing music cue from James Horner's fabulous score for "Battle Beyond the Stars" for that sidesplitting sequence.
"We're all part Shatner/And part James Dean/Part Warren Oates/And Steven McQueen"
I also love how Melvin tries to eat some of the food during the foodfight. So absurd!
