Is there any chance we will see a DVD release of this anthology? I keep expecting to see it turn up on a budget £4.99 label or something, but have heard nothing so far. Can anyone shed some light?

I think this movie is amazing. I love anthology films and this is one of those rare hidden gems that actually suprised and scared me. I would LOVE to have a DVD.

lions gate films owns the vestron video label this film was released on so they should release it someday i hope its a classic 80s anthology horror film with some good scares and stories my fasvorite being the puppet

It's available on DVD from Event Media UK, a company who specialise in transferring Video to DVD and they have done a very good job with Sceamtime, the disc even has extras - trailers, a stills gallery and Filmographies. They sell their DVD's on ebay http://stores.ebay.co.uk/EventMediaUK, at the moment it's the only way to obtain this film on DVD.

So then the answer is no, there is no DVD of this movie, only home made bootlegs and unauthorized commercial reburns of the VHS versions. Just get a VCR.
