He wouldn't let the assassin blow up the car because it had the guy's wife and kids in it.

He wasn't obsessed with women. He only got the trophy wife and got bored with her quickly. But he wanted kids, as he said at the restaurant. He was against Castro and Communism, and he loved his sister. Other than that he did what he had to do.

He was a shark swimming with bigger sharks, his one moment of compassion doesn’t outweigh decades of murder, brutality and criminal activity. Don’t let Tony gaslight you into thinking he has a ‘heart of gold’.
