Do you think Tony went straight to Hell?

Even though he clearly lived a life of sin,he died for a noble cause, Refusing to kill two innocent kids. Maybe that landed him in Purgatory?

reply

He went to heaven with Manny and Gina

reply

Sure, he was a real saint. The ones he killed and sold drugs too were nothing...

reply

There is no such thing as heaven or hell. He's worm feed.

Is this a verifiable fact, or your opinion?

I don't love her.. She kicked me in the face!!

reply

Purgatory? Didn't he have some mortal sins on his soul? I'm assuming he hadn't gone to confession from the time of his last grievous sin and his death, haha.

Assuming hell is by actions and not lack of saving..Id say "yes". He could have potentially been on a way to fixing his trajectory when he spared the wife and kids. But then killing Manny in cold blood (the man who was his protector/friend and devoted husband to his sister) likely would have sealed his eternal fate. It was after this time that even though you felt for his loss, you knew he deserved his fate.

No, because hell doesn't exist. He turned into decomposing tissue like every other organism on this planet.

The question wasn't if we believed in hell. The question was if Montana would go there based upon the actions we saw. If one doesn't believe in hell, then the question wouldn't be for them. That is unless you really...REALLY thought your answer was within the intended range when the OP posed it.

Hwy we all are here, hehe. Months ago, I said no purgatory for Tony because he hadn't been to confession since his last mortal sins.

reply

Ah, well, he was a drug kingpin, a murderer and in love with his sister. So yeah, he earned a one way ticket to Hell!

reply

I don’t think he was in love with his sister, she just taunted him by suggesting that after he smoked her husband and didn’t want any gangster guys touching her.
