Sridevi has not received any award for Sadma

Isn't it strange? As far as I know, Sridevi did not receive SINGLE award for Moondram Pirai/Sadma.

Well Indian film awards are a bunch of garbage. Winning a film award in India doesn't mean much because they mostly go to undeserved people.

bt that year Ardh Satya released which bagged most of the awards...stillll i dnt thnk sridevi shud hve gone so unhonoured...bt verdict by people is her award enough i guess!

Well because that was the year of Shabana Azmi, and she deservedly won all the awards for her amazing performance in Arth, which is umatched.

And Kamal Hassan lost the filmfare to Naseeruddin Shah in Masoom in the same year
