So which is it? Goodson or Goodsen?
I think IMDB is wrong. It is Goodson, and not Goodsen... a name not irrelevant to the character btw

In line of the overwhelming interest in my OP I thought I would update with my latest findings:
Since the credits only list his first name, and his parents as simply "his mom and dad", there is nothing in the movie to give a clear answer. (And as a side note, I am disappointed to learn that IMDb strays from how they are credited in the movie).
So my best bet was to get some clarity from the script. Alas, all it showed was that both Goodson and Goodsen is used somewhat randomly - at least in the versions that I found.
Until further, the conclusion hence forth supports both versions, and so I suppose it is optional to which one one subscribe. I subscribe to Goodson
