Who was the girl sitting at the counter at Pancho's who asked Yeager a question?
She looked familiar,doesn't come up in the credits and I'm dying to find out.Thanks in advance!
shareI think it's Barbara Hershey who plays Yeager's wife. I've always thought they showed her hitting on Chuck to show how he didn't mess around with other women, unlike most of the Mercury 7 astronauts. Somewhat of a Generation Gap.
shareI'm willing to bet Yeager did "mess around". In his autobiography which included pages from other people, his wife Glennis talked about pilot husbands who "stray". She was implying, in my opinion, that her own husband probably cheated on her while away from home.
