Rousing, spine-tingling score by Bill Conti

I am from Scotland. I love courage and many Americans have embodied this great courage.

Bill Conti's score to The Right Stuff is an anthem to courage and human ingenuity.

It's a great movie, has artistic inaccuracies, but as a grand tableau of a wild adventure in American culture, it is a rousing celebration of the human desire to get off the ground and see what is out there because what is down here isn't always so inspiring.

We can do great things when we find courage. We're actually all born with it.

I totally agree. This score, which deservedly won the Oscar, aches to be out on CD in its entirety.

Most of that score was actually composed by Tchaikovsky and Holst. Conti adapted it.

It's no Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous.
