How gory is it seriously?

I've watched it once, and only once, it's more of a PG rating in Australia, rather than R18+, no gore, a little blood, a bit of language, well on the level of the PG rating, the only thing scary is a guy who dresses up as a rat, and that wasn't scary at all. comments please

I'll be back

Several bloody corpses are sound.
A rat comes out of a womans mouth.
We see a fully nude woman.
Rats are burned and squashed.
A man is burned.

overall a little gory. but not too much.

What is wrong with this statement? "The only thing scary is a guy who dresses up as a rat, and that wasn't scary at all."

It's not overly gory in the BURIAL GROUND sort of way, but there are some extremely gruesome in nature scenes, two that I'd love to mention.

1. Lilith, the girl we see fully nude (and we certainly appreciate THAT, don't we??) is lying in her sleeping bag, and a rat crawls toward her, nibbling its way in. Well, looks like it headed for her 'tunnel' and crawls inside, then devours her guts from within, and later on we see it crawl out of her mouth.

2. Taurus, played by Alex McBride AKA Massimo Vanni, gets covered in rats, and we see him walking around with pieces of his flesh falling off of him, then later the group fins find standing up, and turns him around by his shoulders. Not only is a good part of his face eaten away, he plunges to the ground and we see his body start expanding, as hordes of rats chew through his back and explode out of the wound.

I can't decide which of the two is my favorite, but they're both badass!!!

I was disappointed with #1. Yes she was nice to look at but her death scene was lame. You just see her writhing around inside the sleeping bag screaming. What would have been cool is if they actually showed the rat crawling into her vagina and chewing her up from the inside. That is something you never see in these types of movies. I've seen many movies with men being castrated (both implied and shown onscreen) but I have never seen a movie where a vagina is shown being mutilated etc. I find that rather odd.

About as gory as a large plate of spaghetti with mini meatballs and extra sauce and cheese. If you're afraid of the garlic bread, you'd better avoid this one. Cut maybe five seconds out of this one and you'd have an MST3K movie.

the gore was b a d bad sick gross etc if they cut it out it would have been a fun silly campy movie
