Future Award Winners Stepping Stone...

This film should be watched carefully... it contains two (2) future Academy Award Winners (Helen Hunt and Tim Robbins) and a future Emmy Award Winning Writer/Director (John Stockwell of HBO/DePasse Enetertainment's "Cheaters"). Story is pure '80s, includes cult film personalities (i.e. Nancy Parsons from "Porky's" and "Motel Hell" and Dana ELcar from the classic "Fail Safe"), and temporarily re-teams Don Murray (starred in the classic "Bus Stop" with Marilyn Monroe) and Severn Darden from "Conquest of the Planet of the Apes." Other notable actors and actresses include Kathleen Wilhoite (Numerous highlights in film and TV projects, and one music CD), John Wesley (also played the cop that got shot in the train station in 48 Hours), Carmen Argenziano (Currently a regular on Stargate SG-1), and the great TV actress Barbara Babcock (most notable is her performances on the TV Series Hill Street Blues). Another piece of trivia... the stand in for Don Murray was a gentleman named Chaplain Tom Harris. He was a Chaplain at Chino prison in Calaifornia, and was also portrayed by Don Murray in a retitled film called "Confessions of Tom Harris"- a former gangster/enforcer who spiritually turned (another excellent film).
This film is definitely a watcher- if only for the "futures foretold" aspect.
